DCM Ultrasonic manufactures a wide range of ultrasonic cleaning tanks with different capacities, in order to provide a tailored response to our customers' needs. Our smallest model has a capacity of 10.4 litres, and its lifting platform is capable of lifting up to 30.2 kg of weight. On the other hand, our largest model can hold up to 60,000 litres, for cleaning large parts such as circular heat exchangers. We have a wide range of models with different capacities and also options to customise an ultrasonic tank for each specific need.
Within all our cleaning systems, in addition to the main ultrasonic cleaning tank in which the parts to be cleaned are immersed, there is also an auxiliary tank in which residue and dirt floating during the process are removed. This makes it easier to remove oil and dirt, leaving the part sparkling clean, and the operator can collect the dirt content from the auxiliary tank and deposit it.

Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank
11 March de 2025
At DCM Ultrasonic we have been dedicated for over 10 years to offering industrial cleaning solutions for the specific needs of each and every one of our clients from different industries. We are leaders in the manufacture and design of ultrasonic cleaning systems. Unlike traditional cleaning methods, cleaning with an ultrasonic cleaning tank provides the best results, saving time and without causing any damage to the parts. What are ultrasonic cleaning tanks?
Ultrasonic cleaning tanks are specialized machines designed to clean a wide range of components and materials using high-frequency sound waves. These tanks generate ultrasonic waves that create microscopic bubbles in the cleaning solution through a process known as cavitation. As these bubbles collapse, they release energy that effectively removes contaminants such as grease, oil, dirt, rust and oxidation from intricate surfaces and hard-to-reach areas.DCM Ultrasonic manufactures a wide range of ultrasonic cleaning tanks with different capacities, in order to provide a tailored response to our customers' needs. How ultrasonic cleaning tanks work
The operating principle of ultrasonic cleaning tanks is based on the transmission of high-frequency sound waves (typically between 20 kHz and 80 kHz) in a liquid medium. The key steps of the cleaning process include:- Tank filling: The cleaning tank is filled with a specialised cleaning solution, often water-based and mixed with detergents or solvents adapted to the contaminants to be removed.
- Ultrasonic wave generation: A generator converts electrical energy into high-frequency ultrasonic waves, which are transmitted through transducers into the cleaning liquid.
- Cavitation process: Ultrasonic waves create rapid cycles of pressure and vacuum in the liquid, forming millions of microscopic bubbles that implode on the surface of submerged objects, dislodging dirt and impurities.
- Efficient cleaning: As the process continues, contaminants are effectively removed without damaging the material, making it an ideal method for delicate or complex components.
Some features of our ultrasonic cleaning tanks
Ultrasonic cleaning tanks feature a variety of features designed to improve cleaning efficiency, durability, and ease of use. Some of the key features include:- High Frequency Transducers: Our transducers ensure a uniform and thorough cleaning process by generating constant ultrasonic waves.
- Temperature Control: Our tanks feature adjustable heating systems to optimize cleaning performance for different types of contaminants.
- Stainless Steel Construction: All of our tanks are constructed from AISI stainless steel to ensure durability and corrosion resistance of cleaning solutions.
- Variable Frequency Options: Allows users to adjust frequencies based on material type and contamination level.
- Digital Control Panels: We provide precise settings for time, temperature, and ultrasonic power to optimize cleaning cycles.
- Filtration and Recirculation Systems: Help maintain the effectiveness of the cleaning solution by removing debris and contaminants.

Applications of Ultrasonic Cleaning Tanks
Ultrasonic cleaning tanks are used in a variety of industries due to their ability to effectively clean complex components. Some key applications include:
- Automotive industry – cleaning engine parts, fuel injectors, carburetors, and transmission components.
- Aerospace – removing carbon deposits, grease, and oxidation from turbine blades and hydraulic components.
- Medical and Dental – sterilizing and cleaning surgical instruments, implants, and dental tools.
- Electronics industry – cleaning circuit boards, connectors, and delicate electrical components.
- Manufacturing and Metalworking – removing machining residue, rust, and oils from precision engineered parts.
- Jewelry and Watchmaking – restoring delicate items by removing tarnish and dirt without damaging intricate details.

Benefits of using ultrasonic cleaning tanks
The advantages of ultrasonic cleaning tanks go beyond simple cleaning. Some of the main benefits include:
- Performance: Ultrasonic waves can penetrate even the smallest crevices, ensuring a thorough and uniform cleaning process.
- Non-destructive cleaning: Unlike abrasive methods, ultrasonic cleaning does not cause wear or damage to delicate parts.
- Eco-friendly solutions: Reduces the need for harsh chemicals and minimises waste production.
- Efficiency: Faster cleaning cycles increase productivity and reduce labour costs.
- Durability: Components last longer when contaminants are effectively removed, preventing corrosion and wear.
