Ultrasonic cleaning is a highly effective and efficient tool for cleaning exchangers and other components in refineries and other companies in the petrochemical sector. It is carried out by immersion in a bath applying the physical principle of thermosonication together with certain detergents to clean dirt and rust.

Ultrasonic cleaning techniques depends on the microjet resulted from the collapse of the formed bubbles in the bath during the rarefaction of the ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic cleaning used successfully for cleaning plugs and trims of valves and used successfully on larger scale for cleaning heat exchanger bundle.

The UCM 60000 SL is specially designed for cleaning heat exchangers in the oil and gas industry and other demanding industrial environments. The unit has been developed to facilitate overland transport by lorry and can optionally be fitted with a hydraulic loading and unloading system, eliminating the need for external lifting equipment.
